DCHBA GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
Please join us Wednesday, June 17th for our
Monthly General Membership Meeting
Complimentary Breakfast will be served to all DCHBA Members
Non-Members are welcome to attend and pay $5.00
for the breakfast buffet being served at 7:30am
The DCHBA GMM will follow from 8:00 - 9:00 am
All meetings are held at Ryan's Buffet & Grill

Welcome to the Dawson County Home Builder's Association... We are a new, professional trade association, committed to promoting the growth of the building industry in Dawson County. We are chartered members of the Home Builders Association of Georgia and the National Association of Home Builders. We welcome all professions related to the building industry to join our Association.

Our Mission...
Our mission is to provide services and support to our growing membership, and their initiatives in building Dawson county. Our aim is to help increase profitability, professionalism, and consumer value in the local housing industry. We also desire to promote public policy solutions that serve both the housing industry's and community's needs.

The DCHBA & HBAG's General Council Deron Hicks

We are very happy to announce:

The Dawson County Board of Commissioners

voted to suspend collection of

Impact Fees for new construction.

This is a great Victory for the DCHBA

and we would like to THANK

the Dawson County Commissioners for all their help

in assisting to help make this happen

We would also like to Thank Deron Hicks, HBAG for

all his time & dedication put into the Impact Fee Study

this could not have been possible without all Deron's help.

THE DCHBA IS ALWAYS WORKING FOR YOU:
The DCHBA is now a partnering member with
The Council for Quality Growth.
We will have first hand knowledge of all issues pertaining to
Georgia State Growth, Transportation, Georgia State Water Plans,
Structured Parking, NPDES , Permit Requirements and be able to
provide up-to-date information pertaining to the Etowah HCP.

NPDES Level 1A Fundamentals (1-Day with Test)
BLUE CARD Re-certification Course
This four-hour course is for individuals who need to recertify their
NPDES Level 1A BLUE Card which expires every 3 years.
The Dawson County HBA will be holding this class to all our members,
Associates and anyone else who needs their re-certification.
The class will be held at First Citizens Bank in Dawsonville on
Monday, September 21st from 8am - Noon.
